At the heart of this kit is the Run Ring, which allows the lead to slide freely along the leader. This means a taking carp feels minimal resistance the moment it picks up the bait, reducing the chance of it ejecting the hookbait before you connect.
Each kit contains a Buffer Bead, a Run Ring, and a Speed Link — the three components required to complete a running rig. The Buffer Bead cushions the lead on the retrieve and protects the knot, while the Speed Link allows for quick lead changes without retackling.
