The Fox Camotex Soft is a supple, sinking coated braid hooklink material designed for tying a wide range of carp rigs. Its improved camouflage colour break pattern blends naturally with various lake and river beds.
At the heart of the Camotex Soft lies a supple, sinking braided core wrapped in a very soft, matt camouflage outer coating. This combination delivers excellent presentation on the lakebed while keeping the hooklink pinned down and out of sight.
The soft structure of this hooklink material makes it suitable for many different rig presentations. It performs particularly well when fishing over weed or on soft lakebeds, where a supple hooklink helps the bait behave naturally.
The outer coating can be stripped back easily near knots, allowing anglers to create a supple section exactly where needed. Fox recommends removing the outer coating before tying any knots for the best results.
The Camotex Soft comes in three breaking strains — 20 lb (9.1 kg), 25 lb (11.4 kg), and 35 lb (15.9 kg) — each supplied on a 20 m spool, giving anglers plenty of material for multiple rigs.
