It is designed for carp fishing at short to medium range with slack or semi-slack mainlines. The Slik Clip grips the line so the bobbin responds immediately to movement, making this the stated setup to choose it for.
Yes. On a take, the line leaves the gripping section but runs through the central recess of the Slik Clip. The bobbin remains on the line, so a subsequent drop-back is still indicated rather than the indicator losing contact entirely.
Yes. Clip tension is fully adjustable for different mainline diameters, and a traditional free-running configuration is also supported. You can therefore adjust the grip to your line or choose free-running operation instead.
Each version includes a black Hockey Stick adapter, a black 7.62 cm (3 inch) ball chain, a Slim Head and a Slik Clip. These are the supplied parts for the bobbin setup. Conversion using Black Label C.I.S is supported if you want to change the configuration.
No functional differences are specified. Green, Orange, Gunsmoke Black Top, Blue, Purple, Red and White share the same clip, chain and intended use. Gunsmoke Black Top has a black top, so the choice is between colour finishes rather than different fishing capabilities.

The Fox Black Label Slik Bobbin is a visual bite indicator for carp fishing at short to medium range with slack or semi-slack mainlines. Its Slik Clip holds the line in the base of the clip, so the bobbin moves as soon as the line moves. This direct connection makes small movements visible even when the line is slack.
Clip tension is fully adjustable to suit different mainline diameters. On a take, the line pulls free of the gripping section and runs freely through the central recess. The bobbin remains on the line to indicate a subsequent drop-back bite. You can also use the clip in the traditional free-running configuration from the outset.
Each bobbin comes with a black Hockey Stick adapter, a black 7.62 cm (3 inch) ball chain, a Slim Head and a Slik Clip. These provide the adapter, chain, indicator head and line connection for the bobbin setup. The bobbin can be converted using Black Label C.I.S.
The range comprises Green, Orange, Gunsmoke Black Top, Blue, Purple, Red and White. Gunsmoke Black Top has a gunsmoke finish with a black top. All seven versions share the same clip operation, supplied equipment and intended use, so choose by colour rather than by a different fishing range or line setup.
