No. Arma Mesh has a hexagonal nylon weave that does not dissolve in water. It stays around the hookbait to hold and protect it, so you can thread a mesh bait parcel onto the hair like a boilie.
Form a small parcel with the filling tube and plunger, then thread it onto the hair like a boilie. The mesh holds bread, meat, cheese, prawns and dough, as well as hemp, tuna, mini pellets and crushed boilies, so baits that are difficult to mount directly can be fished on a hair rig, including at long range.
Fine is recommended for most fishing situations. Heavy is the thicker version intended for troublesome crayfish, so choose it when stronger hookbait protection is the priority. Wrapping pellets in either non-dissolving mesh helps extend their life underwater.
Narrow has a nominal diameter of 14 mm and Wide of 22 mm. Both contain 7 m of mesh and come in Fine or Heavy. Choose the format for the size of bait parcel you want to prepare, and match the diameter when buying a refill for your system.
Choose a Funnel System if you need the filling tube and plunger as well as the 7 m mesh. A Refill Spool supplies replacement mesh for an existing system, so choose the matching Narrow or Wide refill if you already have the filling equipment.

Fox Arma Mesh is a nylon mesh system for making hookbait parcels for carp fishing and other target species. Its strong hexagonal weave holds bait together and does not dissolve in water.
Use the filling tube and plunger to form small bait parcels, then thread them onto the hair as you would a boilie. The mesh lets you present soft bread, meat, cheese, prawns and dough, including when fishing at long range. It also holds baits that are difficult to mount directly on a hair rig, such as hemp, tuna, mini pellets and crushed boilies.
Wrapping a pellet in Arma Mesh helps extend its life underwater for daytime or overnight fishing. Fine mesh is the supplier's choice for most situations. The thicker Heavy mesh is intended for waters where crayfish are a particular problem, providing the stronger protection option. Neither mesh dissolves in water.
Every version contains 7 m of mesh. Narrow versions have a nominal diameter of 14 mm, while Wide versions are 22 mm. Choose the diameter to suit the size of the bait parcel you want to make, then choose Fine or Heavy according to the protection needed.
Funnel System versions include the filling tube and plunger with the mesh. Choose a Refill Spool to replenish an existing system, rather than buying another complete kit. Match its Narrow or Wide format to your system.
The complete systems are CPV021 (Narrow Fine), CPV022 (Wide Fine), CPV023 (Narrow Heavy) and CPV024 (Wide Heavy). The refills are CPV025 (Narrow Fine), CPV026 (Wide Fine), CPV027 (Narrow Heavy) and CPV028 (Wide Heavy).
