Yes. The supplier describes both uses: the dense, compact body supports long casts from shore and quickly reaches deeper water from a boat while limiting resistance in the current. Choose the weight for your tackle and fishing situation rather than treating every weight as interchangeable.
The 15 and 25 g versions both measure 5 cm, so you can change weight while keeping the stated lure length. The other specified lengths are 4 cm at 8 g, 5.8 cm at 40 g, 6.7 cm at 60 g and 7 cm at 80 g. Lengths for 100 and 150 g are not supplied, so do not infer them from the lighter versions.
No. The FAT JIG is supplied with an assist hook and an inline single hook already fitted, so those components do not need to be bought separately. Inspect them for visible damage before fishing and keep the hooked lure away from unsupervised children and pets.
No UV or glow properties are specified. The supplier offers natural and conspicuous colours, including baitfish names and metallic finishes. Choose the listed finish you want, but do not treat a bright or metallic colour name as evidence of a luminous coating.

The Ragot FAT JIG is a dense, compact sea jig for targeting marine predators such as sea bass from shore or boat. Its weight is concentrated in a small body, helping shore anglers cast to distant spots and boat anglers reach deeper water quickly without presenting an unnecessarily large lure. The compact profile also limits resistance in the current.
The range includes 8, 15, 25, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 150 g versions. The 8 g lure measures 4 cm, while both the 15 and 25 g versions measure 5 cm. These two weights therefore let you change weight without changing the stated length. The 40 g version is 5.8 cm, the 60 g version 6.7 cm and the 80 g version 7 cm. No length is specified for the 100 and 150 g versions.
Choose a weight that suits your tackle, fishing depth and current. The lighter versions keep the presentation small, while the heavier options add weight for reaching depth. Weight and length are separate choices, so compare both rather than assuming every increase in weight means a longer lure.
Colours include AYU, RB RAINBOW, BS BLUE SARDINE, RED WHITE, RH METAL, BLUE METAL, PINK METAL, CH METAL, COPPER METAL and MB. The supplier also lists the 40 g BM-coded version as METAL METAL. Choose your preferred natural or conspicuous finish independently of weight, without assuming a colour has UV or glow properties.
The FAT JIG comes fitted with an assist hook and an inline single hook. You do not need to buy those hooks separately to complete the supplied lure. Check the lure and hooks for visible damage before use and do not use damaged equipment. Keep the lure away from unsupervised children and pets, and store it in a cool, dry place.
