The Eisele Twitcher is a jig head for fishing soft plastic lures for marine predators such as cod and coalfish. Its broad flanks and two water-flow angles make the head dart left and right when worked with the rod, transferring that movement to the softbait. It suits vertical fishing and active presentations in open water, including the sea-fishing situations found in Norway, Iceland, Denmark and the Baltic Sea.
Short rod movements produce the action that gives the Twitcher its name. You can also work it vertically or wind it in slowly, so an aggressive retrieve is not the only option. The extra-large holographic 3-D eyes provide a visual attraction point.
The lead head is fixed to a slim, sharp, tin-plated 60° VMC high-carbon hook. A conical baitkeeper on the shank holds the soft plastic against the head, helping it stay in position during use. Hogy and Eisele Softlures are designed to fit Twitcher heads, giving you a supplier-supported starting point for choosing a matching body.
The supplied variants cover hook sizes 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, 4/0, 6/0 and 8/0. Match the hook size to the softbait you intend to rig. Finishes include Blue, Green, Amber, Black, Pink, Pearl and Silver, alongside Crab UV, Motoroil UV, Fluor-Gelb, Fluor-Rot, Loom, Frog, Sunshine, Dorsch UV and Sandaal.
