Clip the cast-in eye into the snap swivel at the end of the herring paternoster. The weight flutters as it sinks towards the seabed, moving the hooks on the rig. It is a terminal weight for this setup, not a complete herring rig.
Every finish is available in 30, 40 and 80 g. The 30 and 40 g versions both measure 7.5 × 2.5 × 1 cm, while the 80 g version measures 8 × 2.5 × 1 cm. You can change between 30 and 40 g without changing the external dimensions, while 80 g is slightly longer.
White/yellow and white/red are available both with and without a reflector. White/orange, Loom and UV-active orange all have reflectors. The foil flashes underwater in sunlight, so select a reflective version if you want that effect alongside the luminous paint.
All versions have luminous paint and a double seal, but only Loom is explicitly described as self-luminous. Only the orange reflector version is explicitly UV-active. Choose the named finish if either property matters to you rather than assuming it applies to every colour.
Each pack contains one herring weight in the selected variant. Choose the required weight, colour and reflector finish before ordering, as the pack is not an assortment.

The Eisele Heringsblei is a sea-fishing lead for herring paternosters. Its cast-in eye clips into the snap swivel at the end of the rig. After casting, the weight flutters towards the seabed, moving the herring hooks to provide attraction as they descend.
All versions are painted with luminous colours and double sealed. The colour provides an extra visual stimulus in darker water. Reflective versions also have foil strips that flash underwater in sunlight, adding a different visual effect to the painted finish.
White/yellow and white/red versions are available with or without reflective foil. White/orange versions have a reflector. The Loom version is self-luminous and has a reflector. The orange version combines a reflector with an explicitly UV-active finish. Choose by colour and finish as well as weight, as not every finish is offered without a reflector.
