The Flunder Buttlöffel is a sea-fishing rig set for plaice, flounder and other flatfish. It combines a flatfish spoon with one of three supplied bait traces. During active presentation, the spoon imitates another flatfish beside the worm bait to encourage feeding competition. Coloured attractor beads provide an extra visual stimulus at the bait.
Use the system from a drifting fishing boat or cast it from beaches, piers and harbour areas. Each trace has a size 2 VMC worm hook, so the bait presentation is based on a single baited hook rather than a three-hook rig. A spinner blade and attractor beads are included in the rig setup.
