Choose by line diameter, capacity and weight. The 3000 FS has 0.25 mm mono and weighs 326 g, the 4000 FS has 0.28 mm and weighs 340 g. The 5000 FS has 0.35 mm and weighs 444 g, while the 6000 FS has 0.40 mm and weighs 463 g. All support feeder and bottom fishing, so the larger sizes trade extra weight for thicker supplied line and greater capacity at shared reference diameters.
Yes, every graphite spool is pre-spooled with monofilament. The supplied diameter is 0.25, 0.28, 0.35 or 0.40 mm according to size. The supplied line length is not stated. Capacity figures refer to the spool's capacity at specified diameters, so you do not need to spool the reel initially but should not treat those figures as the included length.
Yes, all four sizes specify right/left handle positioning. Each also has an instant anti-reverse mechanism with an on/off switch. Set the handle to your preferred side and choose whether reverse winding is blocked.
The 6000 FS retrieves 89.5 cm per turn, compared with 83.7 cm for both the 4000 FS and 5000 FS and 68 cm for the 3000 FS. A higher retrieve reduces the number of handle turns needed to recover a given length. Compare this figure directly, as the 4000 FS and 5000 FS have different gear ratios but the same retrieve.
They are intended for allround freshwater fishing, including feeder and bottom fishing. The 3000 FS is listed for eel, perch, trout, zander, carp, tench, bream and roach, while the larger sizes are listed for pike and carp. All have a rear drag with felt and a specified free-spool function, useful when bait fishing requires line release during a bite. Saltwater suitability is not established by the supplied evidence.

The DAM QUICK NOVA FS (free spool) range consists of fixed-spool reels for allround freshwater fishing, including feeder and bottom fishing. Each graphite spool arrives filled with monofilament line, so you do not need to spool the reel before your first session. Four sizes offer different line diameters, capacities, weights and retrieve rates.
The body and rotor are made from tough graphite, and each reel has one steel bearing. The graphite spool carries the supplied mono line. Right- or left-hand handle positioning lets you match the reel to your preferred winding hand. Instant anti-reverse has an on/off switch, allowing you to choose whether reverse handle rotation is blocked.
The smooth rear drag uses felt, and the supplier specifies a free-spool drag type for every size. Free-spool operation allows line to be taken during a bite, while the drag controls line release under load. The anti-reverse switch is a separate feature, not the free-spool control. These reels are specified for freshwater use.
All four versions support feeder and bottom fishing. The 3000 FS has the thinnest supplied line and lowest weight. The 4000 FS adds capacity at the same 0.30 mm reference diameter for a 14 g weight increase. The 5000 FS and 6000 FS arrive with thicker line, but weigh more. Compare capacity at the diameter you intend to use, rather than comparing lengths quoted for different diameters.
| Model | Supplied mono | Weight | Gear ratio | Retrieve per turn | Maximum drag | Mono capacity | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | QUICK NOVA 3000 FS | 0.25 mm | 326 g | 5.2:1 | 68 cm | 5.5 kg | 165 m/0.30 mm, 120 m/0.35 mm, 90 m/0.40 mm | | QUICK NOVA 4000 FS | 0.28 mm | 340 g | 5.2:1 | 83.7 cm | 5.5 kg | 195 m/0.30 mm, 145 m/0.35 mm, 110 m/0.40 mm | | QUICK NOVA 5000 FS | 0.35 mm | 444 g | 5.0:1 | 83.7 cm | 26.5 kg | 215 m/0.35 mm, 165 m/0.40 mm, 105 m/0.50 mm | | QUICK NOVA 6000 FS | 0.40 mm | 463 g | 5.0:1 | 89.5 cm | 26.5 kg | 190 m/0.40 mm, 150 m/0.45 mm, 120 m/0.50 mm |
The 4000 FS and 5000 FS retrieve the same length per turn despite their different gear ratios. The 6000 FS retrieves the most line per turn, reducing the handle turns needed to recover a given length. Capacity figures describe spool capacity, not the amount of supplied line.
Supplier use guidance names eel, perch, trout, zander, carp, tench, bream and roach for the 3000 FS. The 4000 FS, 5000 FS and 6000 FS are specifically presented for pike and carp bottom-fishing sessions. Choose within those uses by the supplied line diameter, required capacity and reel weight.
