They are freshwater reels for general fishing, carp and feeder applications, with supplier-listed targets including carp, tench, bream and roach. The on/off free-spool lever lets a fish take line while the bait is out, so you can switch between free line release and normal reel operation for these bait-fishing methods.
Choose the 3000FS for the lowest weight at 308 g. The 4000FS weighs 326 g and holds 220 m of 0.30 mm mono instead of 160 m, with 73 cm retrieve per turn instead of 67 cm. Both have 6 kg maximum drag, so the choice is extra line reserve and retrieve versus 18 g less weight.
Both offer 8 kg maximum drag. The 5000FS weighs 436 g, retrieves 79 cm per turn and holds 320 m of 0.30 mm mono. The 6000FS weighs 451 g, retrieves 86 cm and holds 410 m at the same diameter. Choose the 6000FS for more line reserve and faster line recovery, or the 5000FS to save 15 g.
Yes, the aluminium main spool is specified for both braided and monofilament lines. Every size includes a graphite spare spool, allowing you to prepare another line type or diameter for a spool change. The listed capacities are for monofilament, not separate braid-capacity ratings.
Yes, every size supports left- or right-hand retrieve and has an on/off anti-reverse lever. Instant Anti-Reverse stops backward handle rotation when engaged, while switching it off permits backwinding. This lets you use your preferred handle side and choose whether to allow backward rotation.

The DAM QUICK INTENZE FS family consists of freshwater fixed-spool reels for general fishing, carp fishing and feeder applications targeting carp, tench, bream and roach. A lever switches the free-spool system on or off, allowing a fish to take line while the bait is out. The 5+1 stainless steel bearings provide smooth operation, while the quick drag system allows rapid adjustment during a fight.
Instant Anti-Reverse prevents the handle from turning backwards, and a separate on/off lever lets you switch the anti-reverse function. The handle can be fitted for left- or right-hand retrieve. A CNC aluminium handle with an ergonomically shaped soft-touch knob gives a comfortable grip when retrieving a feeder or playing a fish. The lightweight graphite body and rotor are paired with a thick, lightweight aluminium bail. All four sizes have a 5.1:1 gear ratio and felt drag material.
The aluminium main spool accepts both braided and monofilament lines. A graphite spare spool is included, so you can keep a second line type or diameter ready to swap at the water. All variants are Black/Red. Choose the size using the monofilament capacities below, together with reel weight, maximum drag and line retrieve per handle turn.
| Model | Weight | Maximum drag | Retrieve per turn | Monofilament capacity | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 3000FS | 308 g | 6 kg | 67 cm | 240 m/0.25 mm, 160 m/0.30 mm, 120 m/0.35 mm | | 4000FS | 326 g | 6 kg | 73 cm | 320 m/0.25 mm, 220 m/0.30 mm, 150 m/0.35 mm | | 5000FS | 436 g | 8 kg | 79 cm | 320 m/0.30 mm, 230 m/0.35 mm, 180 m/0.40 mm | | 6000FS | 451 g | 8 kg | 86 cm | 410 m/0.30 mm, 300 m/0.35 mm, 220 m/0.40 mm |
For general freshwater and feeder setups where lower reel weight matters, the 3000FS is the lightest option. The 4000FS adds line capacity and retrieves more line per turn while retaining the same 6 kg maximum drag, at 18 g more weight. For carp or feeder setups needing more line reserve and an 8 kg maximum drag, compare the 5000FS and 6000FS. The 6000FS holds more line at every listed shared diameter and retrieves 7 cm more per turn than the 5000FS, but weighs 15 g more.
Wipe away dirt with a soft cloth and store the reel dry. Check the bail and moving parts for dirt or sand, and periodically lubricate moving parts with suitable reel lubricant.
