The supplier lists the 1000 for perch and trout, the 2500S for fine lure fishing for perch, trout and zander, the 3000S for perch and zander including jigging, the 4000S for perch, zander and pike, and the 5000S for pike. Reel weights rise from 223 g to 348 g, so compare the intended use with the weight you want in your setup.
No. The 1000 and 2500S are rated at 6 kg, the 3000S and 4000S at 4.8 kg, and the 5000S at 11 kg maximum drag. Do not choose by size alone if drag is important. The front drag regulates line release, and its setting must suit your line and rig rather than simply using the maximum.
Compare capacity together with line diameter. The monofilament ratings are 220 m/0.20 mm, 190 m/0.22 mm, 205 m/0.25 mm, 215 m/0.28 mm and 230 m/0.33 mm from 1000 to 5000S. Retrieve rises from 68 to 89 cm per turn across these sizes. Choose the capacity for your line first, then the amount of line you want to recover per handle turn.
Yes. Every size includes a High-Tech design graphite spare spool alongside the two-tone anodized, openwork Dynamic Design aluminium main spool. You can prepare a second line on the spare and change spools instead of respooling the main spool.
No. The supplier specifies freshwater. The 3+1 sealed ball bearings are a construction feature, not a stated saltwater rating, so choose a reel explicitly specified for saltwater if that is your intended use.

The DAM IMPRESSA 4S FD 3.1BB IGSP is a front-drag spinning reel in the Quick range for freshwater predator fishing. Its CNC machine-cut aluminium handle and TPE handle knob give you a firm grip while retrieving, while infinite anti-reverse prevents backward handle movement when setting the hook. Five sizes cover supplier-stated uses from perch and trout to zander and pike.
A graphite body and rotor are paired with 3+1 sealed ball bearings and a machine-cut pinion gear. The bearings support the reel's running mechanism, and their seals help keep dirt out. The oversized aluminium bail guides the line onto the spool during retrieval.
The two-tone anodized, openwork Dynamic Design aluminium spool is supplied with a High-Tech design graphite spare spool. The spare lets you prepare a second line choice rather than replacing the line on the main spool each time.
Monofilament capacities below are given as metres at the stated line diameter. Retrieve is the line recovered per handle turn.
| Size | Reel weight | Gear ratio | Mono capacity | Retrieve | Max drag | Supported use | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1000 | 223 g | 5.2:1 | 220 m / 0.20 mm | 68 cm | 6 kg | Perch and trout | | 2500S | 233 g | 5.2:1 | 190 m / 0.22 mm | 73 cm | 6 kg | Fine lure fishing for perch, trout and zander | | 3000S | 259 g | 5.2:1 | 205 m / 0.25 mm | 78 cm | 4.8 kg | Perch and zander, including jigging | | 4000S | 277 g | 5.2:1 | 215 m / 0.28 mm | 84 cm | 4.8 kg | Perch, zander and pike from bank or boat | | 5000S | 348 g | 5.1:1 | 230 m / 0.33 mm | 89 cm | 11 kg | Pike spinning |
The 1000 is the lightest option. The 2500S adds 5 cm of retrieve per turn for just 10 g more weight. Moving to the 3000S or 4000S increases retrieve and capacity at the listed thicker line diameters, but not maximum drag. The 5000S has the greatest listed line capacity, retrieve and drag, at the cost of the highest reel weight. Compare capacity at your intended line diameter rather than metres alone.
Choose by the stated target fish, line capacity, retrieve and reel weight together. The front drag controls line release under load. Maximum drag is a reel specification, not a recommended setting for every line or rig. The supplied water-type designation is freshwater, so this family is not presented as a saltwater reel.
