Choose 3.90 m for the lighter 530 g rod and 136 cm transport length. The 4.20 m model adds 30 cm of length but weighs 625 g and packs to 147 cm. Both are rated 100–250 g, so choose by handling and transport space rather than casting-weight capacity.
Yes. The saltwater-resistant, tangle-free guides support both braid and monofilament, so either line type can be used on the same rod. No specific line diameter or breaking strain is supplied.
Each rod has three sections and comes with a cloth bag. Allow 136 cm for the 3.90 m model or 147 cm for the 4.20 m model when planning storage or transport.

The DAM IMAX SURF is a three-section surf rod for saltwater shore fishing. Its powerful TC24 carbon blank supports long casts while retaining sensitivity for bite detection. Both versions have a Moderate Fast action and a 100–250 g casting rating, with supplier-listed applications for eel, cod, flatfish and sea bass.
Saltwater-resistant, tangle-free guides accommodate both monofilament and braided lines, so line choice does not require a different rod. The rubberised DPS reel seat secures the reel, while the shrink-tube rear grip provides purchase during casting, including with wet hands. Reinforced construction is intended for repeated sea-fishing use.
The 3.90 m version weighs 530 g and packs down to 136 cm. Choose it when lower rod weight and a shorter transport length matter. The 4.20 m version provides 30 cm more rod length, but weighs 625 g and requires 147 cm of transport space. Both share the same casting rating, action and three-section format, so the longer model does not offer a higher casting-weight limit. Each rod comes in a cloth bag for keeping the sections together during transport.
