Yes, every reel comes pre-spooled with 120 m of yellow, four-strand braid. The 1000 and 2500S carry 15 lb at 0.13 mm, while the 3000S and 4000S carry 20 lb at 0.17 mm. Choose the size with the supplied line specification you want, without needing to spool that line first.
Compare weight, retrieve and drag as well as line. The 1000 weighs 223 g, retrieves 68 cm per turn and has a stated 0.6 kg maximum drag. The 2500S is 233 g, 73 cm and 6 kg. The 3000S is 259 g and 78 cm, while the 4000S is 277 g and 84 cm, both with 4.8 kg drag. Larger sizes retrieve more line per turn, but do not automatically offer more drag.
These are freshwater spinning reels. The 2500S is described for perch and zander lure fishing, and the 3000S and 4000S also for pike and jigging. The 1000 has no specific species recommendation in the supplier copy, so compare its 223 g weight, 15 lb braid and much lower stated drag with your setup rather than assuming it shares every larger model's application.
No, the included braid is 120 m on every size. Mono capacities are 220 m at 0.20 mm for the 1000, 190 m at 0.22 mm for the 2500S, 205 m at 0.25 mm for the 3000S and 215 m at 0.28 mm for the 4000S. Use these separate capacities when comparing a change to monofilament, not as the supplied braid length.
No, the supplier specifies freshwater, despite the 3+1 sealed ball bearings. Treat these as freshwater reels. If you need a reel for coastal use, choose one with explicit saltwater suitability rather than relying on bearing seals alone.

The DAM Quick DYNABRAID 4 is a front-drag spinning reel for freshwater fishing. Every size comes pre-spooled with 120 m of yellow, four-strand braided line, so there is no need to spool the supplied line before assembling your fishing setup. The 2500S is described for perch and zander lure fishing, while the 3000S and 4000S also cover pike spinning and jigging.
The Dynamic Design aluminium spool carries 15 lb braid with a stated diameter of 0.13 mm on the 1000 and 2500S. The 3000S and 4000S carry 20 lb braid at 0.17 mm. All four include the same 120 m length. Choose between the thinner supplied line and the higher stated breaking strain, rather than assuming every size arrives with the same braid. The monofilament capacities below are separate specifications, not the amount of braid included.
All sizes have a 5.2:1 gear ratio, but retrieve per handle turn, weight, capacity and maximum drag differ.
| Size | Weight | Retrieve per turn | Mono capacity | Maximum drag | Supplied braid | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | 1000 | 223 g | 68 cm | 220 m / 0.20 mm | 0.6 kg | 15 lb / 0.13 mm | | 2500S | 233 g | 73 cm | 190 m / 0.22 mm | 6 kg | 15 lb / 0.13 mm | | 3000S | 259 g | 78 cm | 205 m / 0.25 mm | 4.8 kg | 20 lb / 0.17 mm | | 4000S | 277 g | 84 cm | 215 m / 0.28 mm | 4.8 kg | 20 lb / 0.17 mm |
The 1000 is the lightest option and retrieves the least line per turn. Its stated maximum drag is also much lower, which matters when selecting a setup. The 2500S adds only 10 g, retains the thinner braid and has the highest stated drag in this family. For the supplier-described pike, perch and zander applications, the 3000S and 4000S provide the stronger supplied braid. The 4000S retrieves 6 cm more per turn than the 3000S and holds more monofilament at a larger diameter, at the cost of 18 g extra weight. It does not offer more stated drag.
The front drag lets you adjust line resistance during a fight. An Infinite anti-reverse system prevents backward handle movement. The graphite body and rotor house the mechanism, with 3+1 sealed ball bearings and a machine-cut pinion gear. The oversized aluminium bail handles line pickup, while the die-cast aluminium handle and TPE handle knob provide the contact point for retrieving.
The grey and gunsmoke finish takes its styling cues from modern sports cars. The stated water type is freshwater, so sealed bearings should not be taken as confirmation of saltwater suitability.
