Black Cat S-Line is a round, eight-strand braided main line for active and passive catfish fishing. Its very tight weave absorbs almost no water, supporting long casts when spinning and weightless, long-range line tensioning when buoy fishing. High abrasion resistance and breaking strains from 40 to 70 kg suit demanding catfish fishing.
The tightly woven, round braid combines high breaking strain with abrasion resistance. All versions are yellow, making the line easy to see at night and in poor visibility. For the passive-fishing versions, the supplier also highlights visibility in a headlamp beam. Black Cat reports that Stefan Seuß tested S-Line for 12 months under demanding catfish-fishing conditions.
