Black Cat Reflector Boom: visible connections for catfish rigs

The Black Cat Reflector Boom is a light, durable outrigger float for securing bait in freestyle catfish rigs. It connects the rig via a release line to trees, bankside bushes, stick rigs or buoy rigs. Its neon yellow body is easy to spot by day, while a reflector band helps you locate it with a head torch at night.

Quick attachment and tensioning

A uni clip at the top lets you attach the release line quickly. A strong ring at the bottom takes the outrigger line leading to a buoy or tree. The lightweight outrigger lifts out of the water when you tighten the rig, even over long distances.

Choose the buoyancy rating

The range offers 10 g, 20 g and 30 g buoyancy ratings, all in yellow with the same reflector band and attachment arrangement. Choose the rating to suit the buoyancy required by your setup. Each pack contains one outrigger float in the selected rating.

Disposal

Dispose of plastic materials correctly and recycle them in accordance with local regulations to reduce environmental harm.

Frequently asked

Which catfish setups is the Reflector Boom designed for?

It is an outrigger float for securing bait in freestyle catfish rigs using a release line. It connects to trees, bankside bushes, stick rigs or buoy rigs, so you can use it with these supported anchoring arrangements.

Where do the release line and outrigger line attach?

Attach the release line to the uni clip at the top and the outrigger line leading to a buoy or tree to the strong ring below. The lightweight body lifts out of the water when the rig is tightened, even over long distances.

Can I locate the outrigger after dark?

Yes, the reflector band helps you find it with a head torch at night. The neon yellow body aids daytime visibility, while night-time location relies on illuminating the reflector with your torch.

How do the variants differ, and how many floats are included?

Choose between 10 g, 20 g and 30 g buoyancy ratings according to your setup's buoyancy requirement. All three are yellow and share the reflector band, top uni clip and lower ring. You receive one outrigger float in the selected rating, not a set of all three.
