The Perfect Passion XH-S from Black Cat is a versatile catfish rod built for buoy fishing, legering and U-float rigs. It combines an IM6 carbon blank with a slip-proof C.G. Grip System, keeping you in control during long fights with big cats — even when your hands are wet.
The 2-piece blank is built from 100% IM6 carbon fibre matting. The action is powerful yet sensitive, giving you the reserves to tame a heavy fish while still presenting baits cleanly.
The C.G. Grip System blends two plastic components for a secure, non-slip hold. Long drills with wet hands remain comfortable and controlled.
High-quality Seaguide rings distribute load evenly along the blank and work well with braided main lines used for catfish.
Four variants cover both boat and bank fishing: 2.40 m (120 cm transport length) suits boat anglers, while 3.00 m (150 cm transport length) is the popular bank-fishing choice. Casting weights of 350 g and 600 g let you match the rod to rig weight and current.
This rod contains carbon fibres, which are electrically conductive. Do not use during thunderstorms or near high-voltage power lines.
