For slow currents, feed the leader through the head of the mushroom so the float sits cap-up and creates subtle swirl. For stronger currents, feed the leader through the stem so the flow hits the full cap underside, producing stronger turbulence above the bait.
Pick 7 g for lighter leads, finesse rigs and waters with slow to moderate current. Choose 10 g when you are fishing heavier terminal tackle or stronger flows where the float needs more presence to keep the rig tracking properly.
Rohacell® is a rigid structural foam with very high buoyancy and excellent resistance to impact and puncture. It keeps the float lively and intact even under heavy catfish rigs and large deadbaits.

The Mushroom U-Float (U-Pose, underwater float) is a mushroom-shaped subsurface float developed for catfish (Waller) anglers. Its cap geometry lets you tune how strongly the current swirls around the bait above the float.
Thread the leader through from the head of the mushroom for discreet, gentle swirling — the right choice on waters with a slow current. Fix it via the stem instead and the flow strikes the full underside of the cap, creating stronger turbulence and more lifelike bait movement. This setup is recommended for waters with a strong current.
The body is crafted from Rohacell®, a rigid structural foam that combines very high buoyancy with outstanding impact and puncture resistance. Each float is handmade in Germany, shrugging off the punishment of heavy catfish rigs and large deadbaits.
Match the float to your rig and terminal load. The 7 g variant suits lighter leads and more finesse-oriented presentations, while the 10 g version carries heavier baits and holds its position better in stronger flows.
