They are designed for catfish fishing with large soft plastics, including bulky shads. The corkscrew front keeper holds the lure during casts and retrieves, while the protected point in a weedless rig helps reduce snagging around vegetation and obstacles.
Bare is the unweighted version for slow or near-surface presentations. The 30 g version helps reach and hold depth in deeper water or stronger current. The 20 g version provides an intermediate weighting, so choose according to depth, current and the desired lure behaviour.
Size 10/0 has 2.3 mm wire, while 12/0 has 2.4 mm wire. Both are forged steel catfish hooks, but 12/0 is the more substantial option for especially demanding rigs and large fish. Both sizes offer all three weighting options.
Use a strong braided or mono leader with breaking strain matched to the hook size and catfish fishing. Abrasion-resistant material helps protect against sharp edges during the fight, so consider both strength and abrasion resistance when choosing the leader.
Each pack contains two hooks in the selected size and weighting, not a mixed selection. Choose your combination of 10/0 or 12/0 and Bare, 20 g or 30 g when ordering.

The Black Cat Mega Offset Hook is a forged steel offset hook for fishing large soft plastic lures for catfish. Its weedless rigging design keeps the point protected against the lure body, helping the rig pass through vegetation and obstacles with fewer snags.
A long corkscrew-style front keeper grips the softbait and prevents it from shifting during casting and retrieval. This maintains a consistent presentation over repeated casts, particularly with bulky soft plastic shads.
Both sizes use forged steel for strength when playing heavy catfish. Size 10/0 has 2.3 mm wire, while size 12/0 has thicker 2.4 mm wire. The 12/0 offers the more substantial construction for especially demanding rigs and large fish.
Each size is available unweighted (Bare), with 20 g weighting or with 30 g weighting. Bare suits slow presentations or fishing close to the surface. The 20 g option sits between the unweighted and 30 g versions, allowing you to adjust to depth, current and the intended lure behaviour. Choose 30 g for deeper spots or stronger current, where the added weight helps the lure reach and hold depth.
Use a strong braided or mono leader with breaking strain suited to the hook size and catfish fishing. Abrasion-resistant leader material helps protect against sharp edges during the fight. Each pack contains two hooks of the selected size and weighting.
