It is designed for European catfish fishing in rivers and flowing water, including slow trolling along current edges and fishing deep areas and pools. The integrated 360° swivel helps reduce line twist when current or trolling makes the bait rotate.
Choose 100 g with a 10/0 hook, 150 g with an 8/0 hook, or 200 g with a 10/0 hook. The 200 g option adds weight for stronger flow without changing hook size compared with the 100 g version. The 150 g version offers intermediate weight but a smaller hook, so check both specifications before choosing.
Yes. The low-set eyelet made from 1.3 mm steel is provided for attaching a stinger. The stated contents are one hook in the selected variant, not a complete stinger rig, so plan any additional stinger components separately.
The stated 135 kg breaking strain applies specifically to the swivel integrated into the head. It does not establish the strength of the complete setup, so do not treat it as a load rating for the line, stinger or other connections.

The Black Cat Mega Fireball is a jig head for targeted European catfish fishing in rivers and flowing water, including slow trolling along current edges and fishing deep areas and pools. A swivel integrated into the top of the head allows 360° movement, helping the bait turn freely without transferring that rotation to the line. This matters particularly in strong current or while trolling.
The integrated swivel has a stated breaking strain of 135 kg. The redesigned Fireball head is paired with battle-tested Black Cat Mega hooks intended for playing large catfish. The 135 kg figure refers to the swivel, not a stated load rating for the complete rig.
A low-set eyelet made from 1.3 mm steel provides an attachment point for a stinger, allowing an additional hook to be incorporated into the setup. The steel specification refers to this eyelet, not to the head material.
The range comprises 100 g with a 10/0 hook, 150 g with an 8/0 hook, and 200 g with a 10/0 hook. The 100 g and 200 g versions retain the same hook size while changing the weight. The 200 g version provides more weight for sinking in stronger flow, while the 100 g version offers the lighter option. The 150 g version combines an intermediate weight with the smaller 8/0 hook. Choose by both required weight and hook size rather than weight alone.
All three versions are listed in Black. Each pack contains one hook in the selected weight and size.
