Their progressive action supports controlled playing of fish, while the 24TON+30TON, X-SOLID TECH carbon construction is designed to withstand compression and tension under load. The solid blank uses spiral layers of carbon aligned along different axes so the layers support one another.
The Bank 280 measures 2.8 m and is rated for 150–300 g. It offers the shortest transport length at 140 cm and suits the lighter end of this family's heavy bait and rig fishing. Its stated rod weight is 680 g.
