Yes. This sinking catfish softbait is designed for casting with a spinning rod and vertical fishing just above the bottom. You can use the same lure for either presentation, rather than choosing a different body for each technique.
No. Water pressure creates movement through the soft, lamella-covered body and twister tail even on slow retrieves and during vertical holding phases. You can therefore use a slow presentation, while the action during a holding phase depends on water pressure acting on the lure.
The dorsal recess is intended for a jig hook or a Black Cat Claw Single Hook. It provides a defined mounting position, so choose between these supported hook options for your setup. The supplier does not specify a hook size.
Red Head, Motor Oil and Yellow Zombie each come as one 17 cm, 24 g sinking lure. Only the colour differs in the supplied specifications, so select the colour you want without changing the size or weight. The pack is not a colour assortment.

The Black Cat Curly Worm is a sinking softbait for catfish, designed for casting with a spinning rod and vertical fishing just above the bottom. Its convex, fish-skeleton-like body has soft rubber lamellae that imitate a prey fish's swimming movement.
A high-frequency twister tail completes the body. Water pressure produces a swimming movement through the whole lure even during a slow retrieve or a holding phase when fishing vertically. This lets you keep the bait moving without relying on a fast retrieve.
A recess along the back provides a position for mounting a jig hook or a Black Cat Claw Single Hook. Choose your hook setup for the intended presentation, using this recess to position the hook.
The available colours are Red Head, Motor Oil and Yellow Zombie. All three versions are 17 cm long, weigh 24 g and have a sinking action. Colour is the only documented difference, so you can change the colour without changing the stated size, weight or buoyancy. Each pack contains one lure in the selected colour.
