It is designed for freshwater catfish fishing with large baits, including deadbait and baitfish presented on the bottom or beneath a float. The circle shape helps it turn into the corner of the mouth, so the same hook design serves both bottom and open-water bait presentations.
Choose from 6/0, 8/0 and 10/0, from smallest to largest, according to bait and intended fish size. Construction and DG coating are shared across the range. Each pack contains five hooks of one selected size, not a mixed-size assortment.
The supplier specifies strong braided catfish leaders and wire leader material, and also mentions monofilament from 0.60 mm or corresponding braided leaders. The welded eye resists opening under load, providing a closed connection for these heavy catfish setups.
The DG coating is corrosion-resistant and very smooth, protecting against moisture and salt traces while reducing resistance during penetration. It supports durability and penetration in the stated freshwater application, rather than establishing a separate saltwater use.

The Black Cat Circle Haken DG is a strongly built circle hook developed for freshwater catfish fishing with large baits. Its circle geometry helps the hook turn into the corner of the mouth on a take, promoting a secure hold and reducing the risk of the hook coming free during the fight.
Use this hook for deadbait fishing or baitfish presentations on the bottom and beneath a float in open water. Its intended setting includes deep current channels and quiet pools where catfish hold. The strong construction is designed to withstand the loads of fighting large catfish.
The welded eye closes the connection to the leader and resists opening under load. The hook can be combined with strong braided catfish leaders or wire leader material. The supplier also identifies monofilament leaders from 0.60 mm and corresponding braided leaders as suitable options.
The corrosion-resistant DG coating protects the hook against moisture and salt traces. Its very smooth surface reduces resistance during penetration. This protection supports durability, while the stated fishing application remains freshwater catfish fishing.
The range comprises sizes 6/0, 8/0 and 10/0 with the same construction and coating. Size 6/0 is the smallest option, 8/0 the intermediate option and 10/0 the largest. Match the hook size to your bait and intended fish size. The supplier gives no specific bait dimensions or fish-weight limits for individual sizes.
Each pack contains five hooks in the selected size, providing replacements for your catfish rigs.
