It is intended for freshwater catfish fishing with dead baitfish, static large-bait presentations and active fishing with wobblers. Its coated eight-strand braid is designed to resist abrasion around bottom structures, making it relevant to river swims and deep current channels with rough ground.
Hyper-SI increases surface hardness and abrasion resistance when the trace rubs against stones, roots or mussel beds. The camouflage pattern makes it less conspicuous in the water, combining resistance to rough ground with a discreet presentation.
You receive a spool containing 50 m of leader material in the selected version, not a finished rig. It provides material for several traces and for shortening and retying damaged sections. Basic knowledge of knots and catfish leader construction is needed to prepare it for use.

Black Cat Camo-Cat Leader is an eight-strand braided leader material for freshwater catfish fishing. Its Hyper-SI coating increases surface hardness, strength and abrasion resistance where the trace contacts stones, roots, mussel beds or other rough bottom structures. The camouflage pattern makes the leader less conspicuous in the water.
The material is intended for deadbaiting with baitfish, static fishing with large baits and active fishing with wobblers. It is suited to demanding river swims and deep current channels where the trace is exposed to rough ground. The eight-strand construction combines high breaking strain with a comparatively small diameter.
The four versions share the same braid construction, Hyper-SI coating, camouflage pattern and 50 m spool length. Their diameter and rated breaking strain differ:

Choose the rating to suit the fish size and water conditions. The 0.6 mm version offers the smallest diameter and lowest rating in the range. The 0.7 mm and 0.8 mm versions provide intermediate steps, while 1.0 mm gives the highest rating. Moving up in breaking strain also means using a thicker trace.
Each spool contains 50 m of leader material in the selected version, enough for several traces and for shortening and retying damaged sections. This is material for making leaders, not a complete ready-tied rig. Working with braid of this strength requires basic knowledge of knots and catfish leader construction.
