These lures are built for both presentations. From the boat, drop them vertically for precise bottom contact and sensitive feel. From shore or while drifting, cast and retrieve. The vibration and flutter attract catfish equally well in either scenario—choose your presentation based on location and depth.
The 60g models suit shallow jigging (1–3m) and light drift speeds, while 90g handles moderate depths and typical drifts (3–5m). The 120g reaches deep structure, strong current, and rapid depth transitions. Match the weight to your water depth and drift speed—heavier lures maintain bottom contact faster in swift current.
The vibration signature mimics distressed prey and penetrates stained and murky water, triggering strikes in low-visibility conditions. This is especially effective for catfish that hunt largely by lateral-line detection rather than vision. The flutter on the sink further signals vulnerability and escape.
Fire Tiger is a high-contrast pattern that stands out in stained and murky water. Natural Baitfish patterns work better in clear water or when catfish are pressured and feeding selectively. The Baitfish variant is available in the compact 60g size.
For vertical jigging, use a medium-heavy spinning or baitcasting rod (2.0–2.1m) sensitive enough to detect bottom contact. For casting, a 2.0–2.1m medium-heavy spinning rod with braided line (0.25mm) works best. Both setups need smooth, reliable drag systems for fighting catfish in deep water.

The Black Cat BC Vibe lures combine proven vertical jigging design with casting versatility for active catfish fishing across European waters. These compact, heavily vibrating models deliver strong attraction signals whether jigging vertically from a boat or casting from shore.
Drop these lures directly beneath the boat for focused vertical presentations over deep holes, channels, and structure. The controlled sink phase combined with aggressive vibration patterns makes them effective at all depths, from shallow jigging to deep-water work in strong current.
Though optimized for vertical work, the BC Vibe's vibration signature excels on the cast and retrieve. Use them for targeted presentations around weed beds, snags, and drop-offs, or fan-cast across search areas to locate catfish (Wels) feeding zones.
Each lure features a distinctive flutter on the fall, created by the rubber-coated body absorbing impacts while the internal design generates a natural escape motion. During active retrieve, strong vibrations penetrate stained and murky water, triggering aggressive strikes in low-visibility conditions typical of European catfish habitat.
Four variants span 60–120g, covering shallow jigging and light-drift presentations (60g) through deep, current-heavy work (120g). Fire Tiger and natural Baitfish patterns give you tactical options for both stained and clear water conditions.
