The SF LENTUS (S) comes in sizes 3/0, 4/0, 5/0, and 6/0. Smaller sizes (3/0–4/0) suit medium-sized fish and lighter jig heads, while larger sizes (5/0–6/0) handle heavier presentations and bigger target species like large cod or halibut.
An assist hook has a separate line (in this case fluorocarbon) attached to the hook eye instead of the traditional knot connection. This design improves hook alignment when jigging, allows the hook to pivot independently during fights, and reduces line stress at the knot point.
