It is designed for flipping and punching rigs with softbaits in dense vegetation, targeting black bass, perch and other structure-oriented predators. Its stiff carbon steel and forged shank provide strength for fighting fish around cover, so choose it for these demanding presentations.
A stainless-steel bait keeper is fixed to the shank and holds the softbait straight. It is protected by an epoxy seal, giving you a dedicated retention point when rigging the bait for flipping or punching.
Yes. The supplier specifically highlights braid and snell knots as applications that benefit from the epoxy-sealed hook eye, which protects the line. No line-diameter or breaking-strain limits are supplied, so those specifications cannot be used to select a size here.
The available sizes are 2/0, 4/0 and 5/0, from smallest to largest, with four hooks per pack in the selected size. The construction and intended techniques are shared. Choose the size for your softbait, noting that the supplier gives no specific bait-length matching chart.

The BKK Heavy Cover is a single hook designed for flipping and punching rigs in dense vegetation, targeting black bass, perch and other predators that hold close to structure. A stainless-steel bait keeper fixed to the shank holds the softbait straight during these presentations.
The short, needle-sharp point is designed to penetrate quickly and grip reliably even in hard mouth tissue. Special carbon steel provides stiffness and load resistance during the fight, while the forged shank adds strength for demanding fishing around cover.
An epoxy seal protects both the bait keeper and the hook eye. The sealed eye helps protect the line, particularly when using braid and snell knots. This makes the eye protection relevant when choosing how to tie your flipping or punching setup.
Choose from sizes 2/0, 4/0 and 5/0. The 2/0 is the smallest option, the 4/0 sits between them and the 5/0 is the largest. Choose the size to suit the softbait you intend to rig. No specific bait-length recommendations are supplied. All three sizes share the same construction and intended techniques, and each pack contains four hooks in the selected size.
