Berkley Trilene® 100% Fluorocarbon Leader is clear fluorocarbon line for making leaders and shock leaders for spinning. It can also be used as main line. Its near invisibility underwater helps keep the line unobtrusive around the lure, while the abrasion-resistant formula suits contact with rough surfaces. The range includes 25 m and 50 m leader wrist spools and 150 m filler spools.
The line is made from 100% fluorocarbon, with high shock strength and knot strength to support the connection during sudden loads. Its greater density gives fast sinking and high sensitivity, useful when fishing below the surface. Low line memory and straightforward handling help when preparing leaders. These are material properties, not a guarantee of bite resistance.
Available diameters start at 0.15 mm, with stated breaking strains from 1.8 kg to 21.9 kg across the range. Thinner options provide a finer connection, while stronger options offer more load capacity with thicker line. Choose by the specifications of the individual variant rather than diameter alone.
