It is a freshwater trout dough bait, with supplier guidance covering trout lakes and ponds. Choose it when you want a shapeable trout bait rather than a preformed lure.
Yes, all variants float and are easy to mould. You can change the bait's shape for your presentation, but should account for its buoyancy rather than treat it as a sinking bait. Correctly shaped dough can also create pressure waves when pulled through the water.
Polar Bear, Funky Flamino, Pink Panda, Dizzy Duck and Twisty Turtle differ by colour designation. Each option is one 50 g jar of floating dough, so your choice changes the colour presentation, not the quantity or buoyancy. The purchase does not include all five colours.
It provides scent and flavour alongside the two-colour visual stimulus. Berkley states that fish hold PowerBait 18 times longer, allowing more time for bite detection and striking. This manufacturer claim is not a catch guarantee or a colour-specific performance rating.

Berkley PowerBait Trout Dough Bait Swirls is a floating dough bait for freshwater trout fishing, including trout lakes and ponds. Its easy-to-mould texture lets you shape the bait for your presentation. The two-colour combination adds visual contrast alongside the scent and flavour of the PowerBait formula.
The dough floats, so buoyancy matters when planning your bait presentation. It is easy to shape and releases flavour into the water. When correctly shaped and pulled through the water, the dough can produce pressure waves that provide another stimulus for trout.
The PowerBait formula combines scent and flavour. Berkley states that fish hold PowerBait 18 times longer, giving anglers more time to detect a bite and set the hook. This is the manufacturer's claim, not a guarantee of a catch.
Polar Bear, Funky Flamino, Pink Panda, Dizzy Duck and Twisty Turtle are colour options. Every version contains 50 g of floating dough with the PowerBait formula. Choose between them to vary the colour presentation without changing the supplied quantity or buoyancy. No colour-specific fishing conditions are specified.
Each variant is supplied as one jar containing 50 g of dough, rather than a set of several colours.
