It is designed for freshwater trout ponds and suits the common softbait rigs used there. You can choose a presentation around your trout setup, rather than treating it as a complete ready-made rig.
All variants are floating. The bait body has positive buoyancy, so take its lift into account when setting up your rig. The supplier gives no fixed numerical running depth.
Choose 35 mm for a smaller profile or 45 mm for a larger one. The six original colours contain 10 or 8 baits respectively. Trout Pellet and Salmon Egg Red/Black contain 12 or 10 respectively, supplied in jars. Check the colour as well as the length when comparing pack counts.
No, the supplier lists these as colours and specifies PowerBait scent/flavour for every variant. Choose them for the colour option, not for a different scent. The large body surface supports dispersion of the same PowerBait formula throughout the range.

Berkley PowerBait® Power® Pupa is a floating softbait for freshwater trout pond fishing. Its compact body follows the shape and structure of insect larvae. The large surface area helps disperse the PowerBait formula, combining a natural prey profile with scent and flavour.
The bait suits the common softbait rigs used at trout ponds, so you can choose the presentation around your existing setup. Its floating body is positively buoyant, rather than a sinking lure with a fixed running depth. The supplier lists the bait as containing no lead.
Choose 35 mm for a smaller bait profile or 45 mm for a larger one. Both lengths use the same PowerBait formula and floating design. Each length is available in Milky White, Pink/White, Spring Green/White, Spring Green/Sunshine Yellow, Fluorescent Orange/Sunshine Yellow, Black/Sunshine Yellow, Trout Pellet and Salmon Egg Red/Black. These are colour options, not different scent formulas.
Milky White, Pink/White, Spring Green/White, Spring Green/Sunshine Yellow, Fluorescent Orange/Sunshine Yellow and Black/Sunshine Yellow contain 10 baits at 35 mm or 8 at 45 mm. Trout Pellet and Salmon Egg Red/Black come in jars with 12 baits at 35 mm or 10 at 45 mm. Check both length and colour when comparing quantities, as the larger size contains fewer baits within each colour group.
