They are primarily aimed at trout fishing. The egg profile, floating buoyancy and PowerBait scent are all suited to trout in freshwater venues.
Use brighter colours such as yellow, orange or pink for extra visibility, and choose silver, blue or gold-based colours when you want a subtler presentation with shimmer.
Some variants use the standard PowerBait scent, while others add garlic. If fish are hesitant, trying a different scent version can help you refine the presentation.

These floating soft eggs are built for trout fishing when you want a visible, scented bait that stays in the strike zone. The clear side adds shimmer, while the PowerBait formula helps fish hold on longer.
The egg shape imitates natural fish eggs and suits trout venues where a compact, buoyant bait can trigger extra takes. Berkley combines a clear side with proven fish-catching colours, so each variant offers both flash and contrast in the water.
Depending on the variant, you get the original PowerBait scent or a garlic-enhanced version. The floating design helps keep the bait lifted for a natural presentation, especially when you want the egg to stay visible above the bottom.
Each jar contains about 14 g of bait eggs and comes in a resealable package. That makes it easy to keep the bait fresh and ready for short trout sessions or a longer day by the water.
Pick brighter combinations such as yellow, orange or pink when you want extra visibility. Natural or metallic combinations like gold, silver and blue can be a good fit when trout are feeding carefully and you want a subtler look with added shimmer.
