They are primarily intended for freshwater trout, with suitability for other salmonids also stated. They can be used in still and flowing water, so the same egg imitation covers both settings.
Yes, the eggs are buoyant and allow presentation just above the bottom or in midwater, depending on your setup. They are not a fixed-depth lure, so the fishing depth comes from the presentation rather than a stated running-depth rating.
The variants differ in colour: Chartreuse, Fluorescent Red, Pink, Fluorescent Orange, White and Yellow. Each contains 25 eggs with 16 g total net contents. You can therefore choose another colour while keeping the same floating bait format and quantity.
No, they are artificial salmon egg imitations with Gulp! scent. Their durable material retains its shape through repeated use, and they are supplied ready to use in a small jar for straightforward storage and transport without the usual handling demands of natural bait.

Berkley Gulp! Floating Salmon Eggs are scented soft baits that imitate the shape and appearance of real salmon eggs. Designed for freshwater trout fishing, they combine buoyancy with Gulp! scent dispersion to attract fish beyond the bait's immediate position. They are also suitable for other salmonids in still and flowing water.
The floating eggs allow presentations just above the bottom or in midwater, depending on the setup. Their buoyancy is useful when you want the bait off the bed rather than resting on it. The bait is supplied ready to use, but no fixed fishing depth or hook size is specified.
Choose Chartreuse, Fluorescent Red, Pink, Fluorescent Orange, White or Yellow. Colour is the difference between these variants. Every version contains 25 eggs with a net content weight of 16 g in a small jar. This is the total content weight, not the weight of one egg. No colour-specific fishing conditions are specified, so you can change colour without changing the bait format or quantity.
The durable material retains its shape through repeated use. The eggs are easy to maintain, store and transport, offering a ready-to-use alternative to natural salmon eggs without their usual handling requirements.
