Choose 10 cm and 10.8 g for the smallest, lightest presentation at 0.3–1 m. The 14 cm version weighs 21.8 g and runs at 0.7–1.3 m. The 18 cm version weighs 28.7 g and runs at 0.8–1.5 m. Match the stated depth and lure weight to your fishing situation and tackle.
Use jerks and pauses. The Long Shot responds to jerking and wobbles on the stop, so the pause is part of the presentation. It is sinking rather than floating, so it will not rise to the surface when you stop retrieving.
Yes. The reinforced diving lip is designed for rough conditions, while the internal wire-through construction supports durability when fishing for powerful saltwater predators such as sea bass and barracuda. The magnetic Weight Ramp system helps place long casts accurately near rocky cover.
No. Ayu, Sardine, White Chart, Green Mackerel and Wagasaki come in all three lengths. Sandeel and Purple Candy come in 10 and 14 cm. Triglia, Cotton Candy and Mahi Mahi come in 14 and 18 cm. Matte Bone, Smelt and Holo Herring come only in 10 cm, so check size availability after selecting a colour.
Each retail pack contains one lure with two hooks. The 10 cm and 14 cm versions have size 5 hooks, while the 18 cm version has size 4 hooks. You receive the selected size and colour, not a mixed assortment.

The Berkley DEX Long Shot is a sinking hardbait designed for saltwater predators such as sea bass and barracuda. Its magnetic Weight Ramp system supports long, accurate casts, helping you reach fish holding close to rocky cover. A reinforced diving lip and internal wire-through construction are designed for rough conditions and powerful fish.
Retrieve the Long Shot with jerks followed by pauses. It responds to jerking and continues to wobble on the stop, adding movement during the pause rather than relying only on a continuous retrieve. The lure sinks, so it does not float back to the surface when you stop.
The three sizes differ in presentation size, weight and stated swimming depth. Choose the size that matches the depth you want to fish and the lure weight your tackle accommodates.
