Yes. The family is intended for spinning with artificial lures, including wobblers, and for natural-bait presentations in current. Its wide bow gives the lure freedom to move. Choose the size and breaking strength to suit the connection and your setup.
Yes. They are intended for fresh water and salt water, including coastal sea trout and cod fishing as well as river fishing for pike and zander. After saltwater use, rinse them with fresh water and let them air-dry, so saltwater suitability should not be treated as maintenance-free use.
The extra-thick wire provides tensile strength, with each size carrying its own stated rating. The matte black surface reduces reflections, helping keep the connection unobtrusive in clear water or sunlight. Select the required rating separately rather than judging strength from the finish.

The Balzer Shirasu Spezial Swivel is a swivel with snap functionality for lure and natural-bait fishing in fresh water and salt water. Its wide bow gives the lure room to move, including when fishing wobblers. Extra-thick wire provides strength under tension, while the matte black finish reduces reflections for an unobtrusive connection.
The family is suitable for spinning for pike and zander in rivers, coastal fishing for sea trout and cod, and natural-bait presentations in current. The wide bow allows the lure to move without the restriction of a narrow connection. The matte black surface is particularly useful where reflections are noticeable, such as clear water or bright sunlight. Handling is suitable for beginners as well as experienced anglers.
Each size has its own stated breaking strength and pack quantity. Choose by the strength required for your setup and the size of the connection, rather than the size number alone. The range runs from #12 at 9 kg to #1/0 at 24 kg. The higher-rated options provide greater stated tensile capacity, but are a different size. No physical dimensions are supplied for checking the fit with a particular lure eye.

Rinse the swivels with fresh water after saltwater fishing and let them air-dry. Saltwater suitability does not remove the need for this care.
