The heads suit soft shads, soft plastic jigs, creature baits and other soft plastics for perch, zander and pike. You can jig them, work them with a stop-and-go retrieve driven by reel turns, cast and retrieve them or fish vertically, so you can keep the same head design when changing between these methods.
Choose the hook size to fit your softbait, then select the weight for the desired sinking behaviour. Available combinations are #1 at 3, 5 or 8 g, #1/0 at 5, 10 or 15 g, #3/0 at 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 g and #5/0 at 10, 15, 20 or 25 g. Lighter heads fall more slowly, heavier ones sink faster. Exact compatible softbait lengths are not supplied.
The integrated propeller produces pressure waves as you retrieve the rig. This adds an attraction signal alongside the softbait's movement, making these heads an option when you want that extra stimulus during active predator fishing.
Each pack contains three jig heads in the selected hook size and weight. It is not a mixed-size selection, so choose the combination you need and add a separate softbait for fishing.

The Balzer Shirasu Propeller Jig is a lead jig head for active perch, zander and pike fishing with soft plastics. Its integrated propeller produces pressure waves during retrieval, adding an attraction signal to the softbait presentation. Each pack contains three jig heads in the selected size and weight.
Use the heads with soft shads, soft plastic jigs, creature baits and other soft plastics. They suit jigging, a stop-and-go retrieve driven by reel turns, conventional cast-and-retrieve fishing and vertical fishing. The propeller provides its pressure-wave effect as the rig is retrieved, so it adds a moving attraction element to these presentations.
The hooks have a wide gape and are described as sharp and strong. The sharp points support hook penetration, while the strong hooks are intended to cope with hard-fighting predators. Match the hook size to the softbait rather than choosing by head weight alone.
The family offers #1 hooks at 3, 5 and 8 g, #1/0 at 5, 10 and 15 g, #3/0 at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 g, and #5/0 at 10, 15, 20 and 25 g. Hook size determines the fit with your softbait, while weight changes the sinking behaviour. A lighter head gives a slower fall, while a heavier head helps the rig sink faster and reach deeper water or cope with stronger current. Select the hook size for the bait first, then choose the available weight for your presentation. The supplied information does not specify exact softbait lengths for each hook size.
