It is a monofilament main line for trout spinning with spoons and other ultralight lures. Use it as the main line for these light-lure setups, rather than choosing it as a ready-made leader.
The stated diameter and breaking strain pairs are 0.16 mm / 3.3 kg, 0.19 mm / 4.6 kg, 0.22 mm / 6.1 kg and 0.25 mm / 7.0 kg. Choose according to whether a thinner line or a higher stated breaking strain matters more for your setup. Every option contains 150 m.
The 0.16 mm version is available in Pink only. At 0.19 mm, 0.22 mm and 0.25 mm, you can choose Blue, Chartreuse or Pink. Changing colour at the same diameter does not change the stated breaking strain or the 150 m line length.
Low stretch reduces give during lure control, and high abrasion resistance helps the line withstand rubbing. Together with its very supple texture, these are the shared handling properties of the family. Low stretch does not mean the line is stretch-free.

Balzer Platinum Royal Trout Schnur is a monofilament main line for trout fishing with spoons and other ultralight lures. Its very supple texture helps with handling light-lure setups, while low stretch keeps the connection to the lure more direct. Each selected variant contains 150 m of line.
The line combines low stretch with high abrasion resistance. Low stretch means less give when working a lure, while abrasion resistance helps the line withstand rubbing during use. These properties are shared across the diameter and colour options.
The 0.16 mm version has a stated breaking strain of 3.3 kg and is available in Pink only. It is the thinnest option in this family. The 0.19 mm versions are rated at 4.6 kg, the 0.22 mm versions at 6.1 kg and the 0.25 mm versions at 7.0 kg. Each of these three diameters comes in Blue, Chartreuse or Pink.
Choose the thinner options when a smaller line diameter is your priority, or the thicker options when you want a higher stated breaking strain. The increase in strength comes with a larger diameter, not a longer supply of line. Colour options at the same diameter have the same stated breaking strain.
You receive 150 m of monofilament line in the selected diameter and colour. Check both the diameter and its corresponding breaking strain when selecting a variant.
