The Balzer Patronenblei und Glasperle (bullet sinker and glass bead) set gives you everything you need to build effective Texas and Carolina rigs at home — two bullet weights plus two glass beads in a single pack.
When the glass bead clicks against the bullet weight during retrieval, it generates an audible knocking sound. This subtle noise can stimulate the curiosity or predatory instinct of bass, pike perch, and other predatory fish — especially in murky water or low-light conditions where visual cues are limited.
The bullet (patronen) profile of the sinker slides cleanly through weeds and bottom debris, making it equally at home in heavy cover on a Texas rig or as a free-sliding sinker on a Carolina rig. With two weights and two beads per pack, you can set up two complete rigs straight away or keep one set as a spare.
