It reduces steel-to-steel contact noise at the snap. This is useful when fish react sensitively to unfamiliar sounds that could affect the lure's effectiveness, making noise at the connection a relevant consideration.
Their strength ratings are #00: 8.9 kg, #0: 9.6 kg, #1: 10.9 kg, #2: 21.5 kg and #3: 31.7 kg. Choose by the required snap strength and the fit at the lure attachment point. Every size has the same rubberised protection and comes in a pack of 10, so pack quantity does not affect the choice.
The large bow leaves room for lure movement at the attachment point, while the snap closes securely. These features suit spinning setups where the lure needs freedom to move without an open connection.

The Balzer Owner Silent Quick Snap 72815 is a lure snap for spinning with rubberised protection to reduce steel-to-steel contact noise. This addresses unwanted noise at the connection, which can affect lure effectiveness when fish react sensitively to unfamiliar sounds.
The large bow gives the lure room to move at its attachment point. Together with the secure closure, it provides a connection that allows lively lure action while keeping the snap closed during use.
Five sizes offer different strength ratings: #00 is rated at 8.9 kg, #0 at 9.6 kg, #1 at 10.9 kg, #2 at 21.5 kg and #3 at 31.7 kg. The first three provide the lower ratings in the range, while #2 and #3 offer a marked increase in strength. Choose the size that fits the lure's attachment point and the strength required by your setup. The rating describes the snap, not the complete rig.
Each pack contains 10 snaps of the selected size. Rubberised protection, the large bow and the secure closure are shared across all five variants.
