Use gentle wrist strokes into a line that is not fully tight for side-to-side movement. The supplier recommends a light stroke followed by a two-second sinking pause before repeating. A steady retrieve produces broad S-shaped movements instead, so you can switch between strokes and steady winding.
No, it sinks and quivers while showing its flanks on the fall. It is particularly described for shallow water but can be presented at different depths. Allow for its descent during pauses, rather than treating it as a floating or suspending lure. No numerical running depth is supplied.
No, pike are the main stated target, but the supplier also describes zander fishing in darkness, for example along rocky banks where they are feeding. This supports using the same lure for that zander situation as well as shallow-water pike fishing.
Choose from 9 cm/21 g, 10 cm/28 g and 11 cm/36 g, each in Barsch, Rotfeder, Rotauge, Fire Roach or Fire Barsch. Increasing length also increases weight, so select both together. The supplier gives no colour-specific use restrictions or action differences, letting you choose the pattern independently.
The supplied item is one jerkbait in your chosen size and colour with sharp hooks. It is not a mixed pack, so order each additional size or colour separately if you want several options.

The Balzer MK Super Natural Jerk Rotauge is a sinking jerkbait that imitates prey fish for pike fishing, particularly in shallow water. Its coarse, visible and tactile scales create turbulence as it moves. Rod strokes, a steady retrieve and sinking pauses each produce a different action, allowing you to vary the presentation without changing the lure.
Use gentle wrist strokes into a line that is not fully tight to make the lure move to the right and left. The supplier suggests a light stroke, allowing it to move sideways, then a two-second sinking pause before the next stroke. During the fall, it quivers and shows its flanks, keeping the presentation active through the pause.
A steady retrieve instead produces broad S-shaped movements. The lure can be presented at different depths, although the supplier particularly highlights shallow water. No numerical running depth or sinking rate is specified.
Pike are the main stated target. The supplier also describes using these lures for zander feeding in darkness, for example along rocky banks. This gives you a second supported use for the same sinking, fish-imitating lure.
The family offers three paired sizes and weights: 9 cm at 21 g, 10 cm at 28 g and 11 cm at 36 g. Choose the smaller, lighter option or the larger, heavier option according to the lure size and weight you want to fish. Length and weight change together, so compare both when selecting a variant. All three sizes share the described sinking behaviour and retrieve options.
Each size is available in Barsch, Rotfeder, Rotauge, Fire Roach and Fire Barsch. These are the supplier's colour names. No colour-specific water conditions or differences in action are stated, so choose the pattern separately from the size and weight.
You receive one jerkbait in the selected size and colour, supplied with sharp hooks. This is an individual lure, not a colour assortment.
