Choose the 10 cm, 13 g version for a stated running depth of 1.40–1.60 m. Both the 13 cm, 26 g and 16 cm, 50 g versions run at 1.50–2.00 m. Choose between the larger two by presentation size and weight rather than expecting the 16 cm model to run deeper.
Use a slow retrieve or trolling presentation for large pike. The streamer tail creates broad, snaking movements intended to appeal to territorial behaviour, so a calm presentation follows the design concept rather than a hectic retrieve. Bank edges, reed beds and underwater structures are supplier-described situations.
Yes. Replace the streamer tail with a treble hook to change the wide snaking action to harder, flanking movements. Keep the streamer for the original sweeping presentation or make the swap when you want the supplier-described more aggressive action.
You receive one wobbler in the selected size with its streamer tail. The supplier describes replacing the tail with a treble hook, but does not list a replacement treble as included. Do not assume that the alternative tail setup comes in the package.

The Balzer MK Adventure Großhecht-Schlange is a floating pike wobbler developed and water-tested by Matze Koch for slow retrieves and trolling. Its streamer tail produces wide, snaking movements rather than a hectic action. Together with the pike-pattern body, this presentation is intended to imitate an intruding competitor and appeal to large pike's territorial behaviour, including outside active feeding periods.
The supplied streamer tail gives the lure its broad, sweeping movement. Replacing it with a treble hook changes the action to harder movements with more flank exposure. This gives you a choice between the original snaking presentation and a more aggressive action without changing the lure body. The body carries the Großhecht lettering on its flank.
The three versions differ in size and weight, but the two larger versions share the same stated running depth. The 10 cm, 13 g version runs at 1.40–1.60 m and is the smaller, lighter option for the shallower part of this range. The 13 cm, 26 g version runs at 1.50–2.00 m. The 16 cm, 50 g version offers a larger, heavier presentation at the same 1.50–2.00 m depth as the 13 cm model, not a deeper-running alternative. All three are floating.
Use a slow, steady retrieve or troll the lure along bank edges. The supplier also describes casting near reed beds and working underwater structures. The intended approach is a calm, wide-ranging action rather than a fast, hectic retrieve. The design is aimed specifically at large pike, including experienced fish that have seen many conventional wobblers.
Each selected variant contains one wobbler with its streamer tail. A treble hook can replace the tail, but the supplier does not state that a replacement treble is included.
