The Balzer Larva hook assortment is designed for ultra-light trout fishing with small softbaits. Each set contains six single jig hooks in one size, with three unweighted hooks and three fitted with a tungsten bead weighing 0.21 g each. This gives you a choice of unweighted or lightly weighted rigging within the same hook size.
The hooks suit Balzer Larva softbaits and many other small soft plastics. Choose the hook size to match your lure rather than treating this as a mixed-size set.
The assortment is available in #10 and #8. Choose #10 for the smaller hook or #8 when your softbait needs a larger hook. Both versions contain the same three unweighted and three tungsten-bead hooks, so the difference is hook size, not the stated bead weight or number supplied.
