This float uses a battery and can be switched on and off, so you do not need to discard a glow stick after each session if it still has light left.
According to the supplier, it uses one CR 425 3V stick battery. The battery is not included in the package.
Choose the lower buoyancy models for finer rigs and calmer conditions. The higher buoyancy versions are better when you need more carrying capacity, more stable presentation or greater visibility at distance.

The Balzer Elektro Karpfen-/Zanderpose is an electronic float for zander, carp and similar stillwater or slow-water fishing. Compared with a glow stick float, it can be switched on at the start of the session and off again afterwards, which helps reduce waste and keeps the float ready for repeated use.
The slim illuminated antenna is designed to stay easy to see at distance while offering little resistance on the take. That helps when cautious fish inspect the bait, especially during night fishing.
The float body is made from wood, while the antenna and float stem use shatter-resistant fibreglass composite. This gives the float a classic body shape with durable structural parts for regular use.
The float runs on one CR 425 3V stick battery, not included. Supplier information states an operating time of around 45 hours, useful for several sessions before a battery change is needed.
This series is offered in several lengths and buoyancy ratings. Lighter versions suit calmer presentation and finer setups, while heavier versions are the better choice when you need more carrying capacity or extra stability.
