Yes. Switch the battery on when you start fishing and off afterwards rather than leaving a chemical light glowing after the session. The stated battery life is approximately 45 hours, so you can stop the illumination when it is not needed.
The bright multicolor antenna is easy to see even at a distance, while its very slim shape offers the fish very little resistance during a bite. This makes the float suitable for watching eel bites after dark.
The listed length/weight combinations are 22 cm / 4 g, 22.5 cm / 6 g, 23 cm / 8 g and 25.5 cm / 10 g. Choose by the dimensions and weight you need, from the shortest, lightest option to the longest, heaviest. All share the same lighting and battery requirements. These weights are not explicitly stated as buoyancy ratings.

The Balzer Elektro Aalpose mit Innenlauf is a battery-powered inline waggler for eel fishing at night. Its bright multicolor antenna remains easy to see even at a distance, helping you watch the float in darkness.
The line runs through the float internally. The very slim antenna offers the fish very little resistance during a bite, combining visibility for the angler with low bite resistance.
Switch the battery on at the start of fishing and off afterwards. Unlike a chemical light that continues glowing after the session, the illumination can be stopped between uses. Battery life is approximately 45 hours. The float requires one CR 425 / 3V stick battery, which is not included, so obtain it separately before fishing.
Choose from 22 cm / 4 g, 22.5 cm / 6 g, 23 cm / 8 g and 25.5 cm / 10 g. The 22 cm / 4 g version is the shortest and lightest listed option, while the 25.5 cm / 10 g version is the longest and heaviest. The 22.5 cm / 6 g and 23 cm / 8 g versions sit between them. All share the same lighting, internal line routing and stated battery life. The supplier lists these gram values as weight, not as a separate buoyancy rating.
One waggler in the selected variant is supplied.
