They suit float, pole and bottom fishing, including feeder rigs. The supplier names bream and tench, and also describes suitability for playing carp and barbel. Each hook comes on a 60 cm monofilament hooklength, ready to add to the chosen float or feeder setup.
Yes. The wide gape is explicitly designed to make threading corn kernels onto the hook easy. This supports direct hook baiting, so a hair presentation is not needed for that use.
Size #2 uses 0.30 mm line, #4 and #6 use 0.25 mm, and #8 uses 0.20 mm. All are 60 cm long. Choose #4 or #6 to change hook size without changing diameter, or #2 and #8 for the largest/thickest and smallest/finest combinations respectively. A breaking strain is not specified.
Each pack contains 10 hooks in the selected variant, already tied to 60 cm monofilament hooklengths. You do not need to tie the hooks, but still need to incorporate the hooklengths into your float or feeder setup.

Balzer Camtec Mais Haken are pre-tied coarse-fishing hooks for float, pole and bottom fishing, including feeder setups. Each single hook is tied to a 60 cm monofilament hooklength, so there is no need to tie the hook yourself before adding it to your setup. The wide gape makes it easy to thread corn kernels directly onto the hook.
The gold-coloured hooks have sharp points to help the hook take hold. They are intended for bream, tench and other coarse fish, and the supplier also describes their suitability for playing hard-fighting carp and barbel. Use them with coarse-fishing floats or feeder rigs with a bait feeder. The corn goes onto the hook itself, rather than requiring a hair presentation.
The range pairs hook size with a fixed hooklength diameter: size #2 with 0.30 mm, #4 with 0.25 mm, #6 with 0.25 mm and #8 with 0.20 mm. All hooklengths are 60 cm long. Size #2 is the largest hook and has the thickest line, while #8 is the smallest hook and has the finest line. Sizes #4 and #6 let you change hook size while keeping the same line diameter. Choose the hook size to suit your corn presentation and the line diameter to suit your setup. No breaking strain is supplied, so diameter alone does not establish a load rating.
Each pack contains 10 pre-tied hooks in the selected hook-size and line-diameter combination.
