It is intended for cod, coalfish, pollack and halibut in saltwater, primarily for deep vertical jigging from a boat. Its 200g weight suits this use but is generally too heavy for ordinary shore fishing. Very deep coastal structures require suitable tackle.
Each pack contains one jighead and two bodies, one paddle tail and one twister tail. The paddle tail gives a broader kick for steady retrieves or slower current, while the twister tail works at faster retrieve speeds. The screw-in head lets you swap between them in seconds without tearing the body.
The magnet in the back holds the stinger treble and returns it to position after a missed bite. Once a fish is hooked, the treble releases so all three points remain free. This keeps the hook positioned between bites and reduces tooth contact with the soft body during the fight.
No differences are stated beyond the finishes Seelachs-Pink, Seelachs-Louminous and Pink/Schwarz Fireshark. All are 200g with two tail styles, magnetic treble support and a UV-active coated jighead. Choose the finish you want, without changing the stated setup or target species.
The supplier recommends a strong sea rod, a suitably rated sea reel and strong braided line for the 200g jigging lure. A fluorocarbon leader provides abrasion protection around wrecks and rocky ground, so match the setup to the lure weight and fishing structure.
Rinse the soft bodies with fresh water after saltwater use and store them dry. Keep them separate from other soft lures because different compounds can react with each other. This avoids material damage during storage.

The Balzer Adrenalin Arctic Shad is a 200g soft lure for saltwater jigging on cod, coalfish, pollack and halibut. Its spiral jighead holds the body securely while allowing quick changes without tearing the soft plastic. Developed with northern Norway specialist Steffen Dietze over almost two years, it combines interchangeable tails with a patented magnetic treble-hook support.
A stainless steel screw holds the body on the jighead. An entry channel in the soft plastic shows where to start the screw, so the body can be screwed on or off in seconds. This makes it easy to change the presentation when fish respond differently.
The magnet in the shad's back holds the stinger treble in position and returns it there after a missed bite. When a fish is hooked, the treble releases from the magnet, leaving all three points free. Separating the hook from the body during the fight reduces tooth contact with the soft plastic and helps it last longer. The bodies are also described as durable and colourfast.
Each pack contains two soft bodies, one paddle tail and one twister tail, plus one jighead. The paddle tail produces a broader, kicking movement for a steady retrieve or slower currents. The twister tail moves in a spiral and works at faster retrieve speeds. Both use the same screw-in head, allowing you to change tail style without damaging the body.
All jigheads have a UV (ultraviolet)-active clear coat that fluoresces under UV light for added visibility in deep or murky water. The stinger uses abrasion-resistant 1.4 mm PE (polyethylene) line and a thick-wire Mustad sea-fishing treble, providing a durable hook connection for large saltwater fish.
The 200g version is primarily intended for deep vertical jigging from a boat, including fjord edges, wrecks, steep drop-offs and sandy seabeds. It is generally too heavy for ordinary shore fishing, although very deep coastal structures can be an option with suitable tackle. Use a strong sea rod, a suitably rated sea reel and strong braided line for the 200g lure. A fluorocarbon leader protects against abrasion around wrecks and rocky ground.
Choose between Seelachs-Pink, Seelachs-Louminous and Pink/Schwarz Fireshark. All three have the same stated 200g weight, two tail styles, jighead system and target species. The supplied evidence gives no colour-specific fishing conditions or performance differences, so the choice is the finish rather than a different setup. The UV-active jighead coating is shared across the range.
After saltwater use, rinse the bodies with fresh water and store them dry. Keep them separate from other soft lures to avoid reactions between different soft-plastic compounds.
