Each 95 cm leader has a barrel swivel for the mainline and an extra-strong snap for the lure, so you can connect your tackle without tying the leader yourself. Each pack contains two leaders in the selected diameter and breaking strain.
The leaders suit all common artificial lure types, including soft shads, pirks, twisters and jigs. They are intended for cod, halibut, saithe and pollack from boats, the coast or piers. Supported uses include jigging, drifting over sandbanks and fishing reefs.
Tie your mainline to the barrel swivel, then clip the lure into the snap. The swivel can connect monofilament, fluorocarbon or braided mainline when you use a knot suitable for that line. The supplier gives the Palomar knot as one example. Although the leader is pre-tied, the mainline connection still needs a knot.
The barrel swivel reduces line twist from rotating lures such as rotating jigs and twisters. The extra-strong snap allows quick lure changes without rebuilding the leader and is designed to hold under high tension.

The 0.60 mm version has the lowest stated breaking strain, followed by 0.70, 0.80 and 0.90 mm, while 1.0 mm has the highest. Moving to a higher rating also means using a thicker leader. Choose the diameter and strength for your setup, as the supplier does not allocate individual ratings to specific species or lure weights.
