Match your lure weight to the individual rating. The range starts at 1–7 g on the 662UL and reaches 14–60 g on the H models, so select the rated range before choosing length and transport format.
The four-piece 704ML packs to 62 cm and the four-piece 804M to 70 cm. Both have Fast action, while the two-piece models need 106–145 cm of transport space.

These freshwater spinning rods use redesigned 30T carbon blanks and full-carbon Custom Abu reel seats for low weight, balanced handling and direct lure feedback. Their responsive construction helps you feel and control artificial lures during active fishing.
The split grips use high-grade EVA for comfortable handling. Eight stainless steel K-Type guides, including the tip, provide anti-tangle line guidance to reduce tangling during casts. The rods are supplied in nylon bags.
Start with the lure rating rather than the model code alone. The 662UL and 702ULP cover the lightest lures, followed by the 702L and 702ML. The 702M, 704ML, 802M and 804M cover intermediate weights. The MH, MHP and H versions accept heavier lures, up to 60 g on the H models. The 902MH and 902H also have explicit supplier support for pike and zander fishing, and the 902MH for perch.
F means Fast and XF means Extra Fast action. The four-piece models and the two lightest-rated models have Fast action, while the remaining models have Extra Fast action. Longer versions add reach but need more transport space. Compare rod weight as well as length, as the models range from 98 to 165 g.

The four-piece 704ML packs to 62 cm and the 804M to 70 cm. Choose these when compact storage matters. The two-piece models have fewer joints but transport lengths of 106–145 cm. At 2.44 m and 7–30 g, the 804M offers a shorter packed length than the 802M, with Fast rather than Extra Fast action and a weight of 137 g rather than 122 g.
