What types of lures work best with these rods?

The TORMENTOR2 performs well with spinners, soft plastics, crankbaits, and small jigs. The moderate-fast action provides good sensitivity for feeling lure action while delivering enough power to set hooks effectively on predatory fish species.

Are these rods suitable for beginners?

Yes, the TORMENTOR2 series is specifically designed to be affordable and reliable for anglers of all skill levels. The moderate-fast action is forgiving and responsive, making these excellent entry-level rods or upgrades from basic equipment.

What is the rod made from?

The TORMENTOR2 features a strong yet lightweight 24T Carbon rod blank with a slim design profile. The cork handle provides comfort and grip security, while the guides are rustproof Stainless Steel with SiC (Silicon Carbide) inserts for excellent line protection.

Can I use braided line with these guides?

Yes, the Stainless Steel LTS SIC guides handle both monofilament and braided lines effectively. The smooth SiC inserts provide excellent line contact and reduce friction for consistent casting distance and accuracy.
