It is a saltwater lure for sea trout that imitates a sandeel. Its good casting properties and S-curve action suit active cast-and-retrieve fishing, with a stated running depth of 0.5–2 m for both sizes.
The 10 cm version weighs 13 g, while the 12 cm version weighs 18 g. Choose between a smaller, lighter profile and a larger, heavier one to suit your lure choice and casting setup. Both have the same stated running depth and actions, and all ten colours are available in each size.
A steady retrieve produces an S-curve swim. A spin stop makes the lure fall with fluttering and vibration, while small twitches create erratic movements. You can alternate these presentations to change the sandeel imitation's movement during a cast.
The Penna uses high-grade ABS plastic and a lead-free design. Each pack contains one lure in the selected size and colour, in plastic-free packaging. Different colours or sizes must be selected separately rather than as a mixed assortment.

The Abu Garcia Sölv Penna is a saltwater sea trout lure that imitates a sandeel with an S-curve swimming action. Its good casting properties suit cast-and-retrieve fishing, while pauses and small twitches let you change the presentation without changing the lure.
On a steady retrieve, the Penna swims in an S-curve. During a spin stop, it falls with a fluttering, vibrating movement, imitating a sandeel escaping downwards. Small twitches produce erratic, unpredictable movements, offering a contrasting presentation to steady winding. Both sizes have a stated running depth of 0.5–2 m.
Choose 10 cm / 13 g for the smaller, lighter sandeel profile or 12 cm / 18 g for the larger, heavier version. Match the lure weight to your casting setup. Both sizes share the same stated depth range and actions, so the larger model is not specified as a deeper-running option.
Each size is available in Baitfish, Smelt, Dark Sandeel, Light Sandeel, Chrome, Sunrise, Blue Herring, Green Tobis, UV Pink Tail and Chili Red. Select the named finish you want without changing the size or weight. The supplier does not specify colour-dependent fishing conditions.
The lure is made from high-grade ABS plastic with a lead-free design. It comes in plastic-free packaging, with one lure per pack in the selected size and colour.
