The STX -LP-L has a 6.7:1 ratio and retrieves 64 cm per turn, giving a slower retrieve at the same cadence. The difference is retrieve speed, not weight, line capacity or maximum drag. The centrifugal brake lets you adjust casting control. It is separate from the Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System, which uses carbon-fibre drag material and star adjustment to control line release during a fight. Maximum drag is 11.3 kg.
