Yes. The manufacturer explicitly supports freshwater and saltwater use with HPCR™ bearings and Salt Shield™ bearings at the pinion gear and line roller. They are therefore not restricted to freshwater lure fishing, but no waterproof rating or specific maintenance schedule is supplied.
Both models have a removable sinker keeper for drop-shot weights. Securing the weight reduces rig tangling during rod transport, so the sinker has a dedicated holder rather than hanging loose. The holder can be removed when not needed.
